Who We Are:

Ryan McCollum, CEO and founder of Wingshooting The World. Ryan has worked for the last 13 years in the shooting and flyfishing industry. He has his degree in Shooting Complex management from Southern Illinois, while studying he became a shooting instructor and life member of the NSCA (National Sporting Clays Association). An internship at El Canelo ranch in South Texas, had him learning hands on what it takes to attend to clients while guiding them for quail, doves, ducks, deer and turkey. With his yearlong internship and graduation completed, he went on to manage the High Desert Hunt Club just outside of Los Angeles, California. There he organized quail, chuckar, pheasant, and simulated driven European shoots. And an intense continuing education by having more than 1.000 shooters in the season, the hands on experience and learning to deal with the anti hunters in the world. While working with Latin help in both California and Texas, Ryan had both a personal and professional interest in learning the Spanish language. Leaving the High Desert Hunt Club he then went on to work four seasons in San Fernando, Tamaulipas, Mexico for Gerry Glasco, guiding and hosting quail and duck hunters. Over the off season of these four years  Ryan studied Spanish in the Universities, attended Sweetwater Travels Flyfishing Guide school in Montana, took a total emersion Spanish program in San Jose, Costa Rica, and worked as a flyfishing, whitewater rafting, and adventure guide for Great Alaska Adventure Company in Sterling Alaska. All of this to help him get to his final goals of working in South America. Ryan's dreams came true when he went to work for Gran Chaco Adventures, owned by Kjell Erland vonSchneidern, a true legend and pioneer in South American hunting.  Erland had hunting in Bolivia and Paraguay after operating for many years in Colombia. In Bolivia, Ryan was Erland's righthand man and helped host and guide groups for dove, and peacock bass.  After the passing of  Mr. Erland, Ryan continued working with Gran Chaco Adventures and managed the Paraguay and Bolivia season for one year. In 2004 Ryan opened a duck, quail and tarpon fishing operation on the Yucatan Peninsula of Mexico called Yucatan Outfitters. He would work 6 months of the year in Bolivia and the other part in Mexico. In 2006, Ryan and Bolivian, Jose Luis Vidal (Mozo), long time scout, for Gran Chaco opened a new company in Bolivia called Wingshooting Safaris de Bolivia. Here Ryan and Mozo are doing pigeon, dove, duck and perdiz hunting plus dorado and peacock bass fishing. Ryan's life is based on a passion for hunting and fishing and after spending many years traveling the world, meeting many people in the same profession, and his love for attending to clients needs, down to the last detail, he has designed the company Wingshooting The World to offer first class wingshooting and fishing adventures. Ryan now resides full time in Santa Cruz de la Sierra Bolivia, with his wife Karen and Daughter Katleen, where He he continues his constant search to find premium destinations for sportsmen and women around the World.

Jose Luis "Mozo" Vidal Urgel has been a hunter since he could walk and is extremely knowledgeable about the country of Bolivia, having hunted or fished it inch by inch, most of his life, from the jungles of the north to the Chaco of the south. In fact, he is more familiar with the Chaco Paraguayo than some of the people that lives there.  Mozo is a passionate bird and big game hunter and
his ability to find birds and game is a real specialty.
Mozo had worked for the late Erland von Scheidern for 8 years in Bolivia and 2 years in Paraguay. He was the first professional scout in both Bolivia and Paraguay. Mozo's dedication to his work is evident to all who shoot with Wing Shooting The World. Finding the best shooting fields is often tedious, hard work, Mozo will drive someday 400 km to find the very best places, often not sleeping, in anticipation, planning that  perfect spot to put a blind to ensure the clients the finest days sport ! As partners, Mozo and Ryan started Wingshooting Safaris de Bolivia. Here, Mozo works hard, finding the best shooting places and attending to all the clients needs.  His local and political connections here in the country assure that Wingshooting the World's clients will have an exciting well run sporting adventure.
Mozo resides in Santa Cruz, Bolivia with his wife and 4 children.

Jim Riley and Ryan have joined together to form the company Big Game Hunting The World.
Jim utilizes his years of hunting, fishing, and world travelling experience to help you plan the trip of your lifetime.  Jim has been hunting and fishing since he was a child; his first out of state hunt was a North Dakota waterfowl hunt with his father when he was just six years old.  He has been travelling the world hunting and fishing every since. Some of the regions Jim has hunted and fished are: Africa, Alaska, Russia, Argentina, Bolivia, New Zealand, Australia, Manitoba, Alberta, Saskatchewan, all over the continental USA, and the list goes on.
Jim Attended University of Wisconsin-Stout where he received his degree in Marketing Education.  After spending a few years in the corporate world he decided to try to make a living doing what he loved, hunting, fishing, and teaching others. He spent time guiding and was soon sought out by Cabela's Outdoor Adventures where he  happily worked for four years.  After leaving Cabela's to pursue what he really loves, Jim now shares his time helping clients arrange trips, outfitting, and guiding.  Jim is dedicated to TURNING  HUNTING AND FISHING DREAMS INTO REALITY!
Jim has spent this year guiding clients in Alaska and is spending the winter managing a Wingshooting Lodge in Mexcio.
Together we are in the process of securing some spaces with the finest outfitters in the world.  Unlike the large agencies who sell "cookie cutter hunts" we want to be sure and custom tailor each hunt to match the outfitter that we feel our client will best match up with.

WingShooting The World is proud to have Braden Escobar working along with us as our outfitter in Peru and Ecuador.
Braden Jairo Escobar, born in New Orleans, Louisiana and raised since an infant in Guayaquil, Ecuador. Turning professional hunter by age 20 while still going to school at LSU. His first guided hunts in Ecuador were for ducks, deer and goats.  In the year 2001 he started the first charter operation in the Galapagos Islands and pioneered the most fertile waters of the world for striped marlin.  For the past 10 years has fought to protect the rights of fishermen and hunter in Ecuador and the Galapagos Islands against the corrupt interests of some environmentalist and political institutions.
Today his operations have expanded into Peru and Argentina to offer fishing and hunting trips that range from illusive cats to some of the most difficult fish.  Most of his travel packages include destinations and activities geared to the whole family, as well as one to one attention for the most demanding clients.
Some of the most interesting trophies have been high ranking SCI red brocket deer shot by clients with Braden.  He was also the first to help clients catch 5 striped marlin on fly in one day in the Galapagos Islands.
Is pleased to be working with world re-knowned fly fisher and renaissance man Peter Gorinsky. Peter, a  much sought after speaker at many sportsman shows and conventions, is founder and President  of the Tropical Flyfishing Assoc. and a 30 year FFF guide and instructor. Having lived in Central and South America most of his life, he has fished all of her waters, for a variety of tropical species. However his first love is trout. Peter has fished  on 5 continents in pursuit of these fish. Settling in the beautiful country of Costa Rica, Peter now specializes in light line (3-4 wt) flyfishing for tico trout in the highland rain forests of Central America.
WingShooting The World looks forward to providing our clients the flyfishing adventure of a lifetime, in the cloud forest of Costa Rica.
And Peter is just the man to provide it !

Randy Sauceda was born in Port Arthur, TX, growing up near the coastal marshes along its Louisiana border. An avid hunter and fisherman since an early age, he spent most of his life chasing fish and game around his native state, from duck hunting the marshes near his hometown to the Brush Country of his families' roots in deep, South Texas.
After graduating from Texas A&M University in College Station, TX, he settled into a sales career in the concrete jungles of Dallas, Houston and San Antonio but eventually grew weary of cubicle life. He and his wife (and faithful Labrador) living out a lifelong dream, just returned from a year-long roadtrip through Mexico, exploring, surfing and fishing, taking in her natural beauty from Northern Chihuahua and Sinaloa to the jungles of Chiapas and the Yucatan.
Now settled in San Antonio, Randy brings some great experience with him. A passionate outdoorsman, fluent in Spanish and familiar with all aspects and needs of the traveling sportsman ! WingShooting the World welcomes Randy aboard our sales team.

Flyfishing Around The World would like to introduce Seth Vernon  to its international sales staff and advisory board.
Seth Verons father, was a fun loving Cajun and outdoorsman who shared his passion for the outdoors with his son at an early age, from the saltwater bayous of Louisiana to the freshwater cypress lakes of his home. Seth has carried that childhood enthusiasm with him every time he goes fishing to this day.
In the fall of 1997 he moved to Boone, NC to attend college at ASU. The allure of
the NC mountains proved strong and he spent the next six years there as an Orvis Endorsed Guide. Guiding in Boone provided a strong foundation and led him to work as a guide at Mission Lodge in southwest Alaska. The business connections and knowledge Seth had gained in those brief years afforded him the opportunity to travel from Alaska to the Yucatan Peninsula of Mexico in search of light tackle game fish with a fly rod.
By 2003 Seth and a good friend had  purchased the Intracoastal Angler in
Wilmington, NC with the vision of fulfilling a lifelong dream of helping fellow
anglers in their fishing pursuits.
Seth now operates Intracoastal Angler Saltwater Outfitters as well as his own
charter business chasing redfish on the fly with anglers from all over the U.S. on
North Carolina's Cape Fear coast. Seth's passion for fly fishing has always focused
on teaching new anglers how to harness their potential for better casting
technique, fish fighting, knot tying and fly selection.
In Seth's own words :
"Fly fishing is what I love and I love what I do all 365 days of the year.
Whether you are new to fly fishing or a seasoned pro my goal has and always will be to make sure that you get the right information and answers to your questions and maybe some friendly advice or fishing tips along the way. I hope to see you on the water´.

FlyFishing Around The World would like to introduce Mark Ledden to its international sales staff and advisory board.
Mark has been a devout fisherman since as far back as he can remember. He started salmon fishing while all the rest of the kids were still on the playground. Mowing every lawn in town to buy his first fly rod and reel. In Mark’s own words “I had caught more salmon by the age of twelve them most will in a lifetime (no lie).” Having the good fortune to grow up in an area that had several good rivers within walking distance, good runs of king and coho salmon, rainbow trout, brown trout, steelhead and some of the biggest small mouths anywhere in the world.
Mark started guiding at sixteen. He had always dreamed of being a professional fisherman. Growing up watching some of the greats like Flip Pallot, Lefty Krey, and Mark Sosin on Saturday and Sunday mornings. While most kids idolized some sports figure Mark was studying every cast these guys made. While his friends were at football practice hitting tackling dummies he was roll casting to a tailout with a new run of dime bright chromers.
At the young age of 18 he bought a 28’ Great Lakes sport fishing vessel. Operating this for two years mostly fishing salmon and brown trout tournaments on lake Ontario.
Since then Mark has fished and honed his skills around the globe, with travels  taking him to places as far and diverse as Japan, Cuba, the Caribbean, Canada, the Florida Keys, most of the East Coast and some of the South West and West coast of the United States.
Taking  time off to get a psychology degree at Syracuse University in New York, Mark decided upon graduating he would pursue his lifelong dream to become a professional fly fisherman. Finding himself in one of the busiest cities in the world, New York, he worked for the flag ship Orvis store on 44th and 5th avenue in Manhattan for a little over a year and then made the jump to guiding in Alaska.  Mark got invaluable training at one of the largest and most renowned lodges in Alaska. With this helpful experience under his belt, he decided to head up his own fishing business on the Kenai Peninsula, focusing on the Kenai and Kasilof rivers. Mark is now the head guide of a five guide operation using power and drift boats as well as float planes and foot wading. After the Alaskan season ends, he heads home to Pulaski, New York, for the salmon, steelhead and brown trout season there.  This season lasts until late January. Then its time for fishing travel, until the Alaska seasons starts back up in May. Mark is one of those truly fortunate people in this world in that he lives out his dreams daily. Again in Marks own words  “I feel the most important part of fly fishing is sharing it with friends, old and new. I really feel that the quality of the experience is  heightened immeasurably when fishing with good friends. and, if you ever get the chance to take a kid fishing do it. It will make their day and hopefully bring realization of just how important it is to keep our waters pristine for all generations to experience”.

WingShooting The World is proud to present its Argentine partner Damian Garcia.
Was born in a small town of Buenos Aires province in the middle of the “Pampas”.
He grew up surrounded by a sea of natural grass, pasture fields, lagoons and a lot of wild game.
Been really young (12 years old) he started to be a “local guide” and hunting with European hunters (Spaniards, Italians, Germans etc) who were brought to the area for outfitters who needed the service of local people who knew the game and the best hunting spots.
The contact with this people who came looking for great hunting in the area like Perdiz, Ducks, Geese and Big Game, gave Damian the opportunity to discover his passion for guiding people who loved the hunting as much as he does.
He was studying and finishing his degree in Business Administration in Bahia Blanca when at the same time kept working for an outfitter who started to bring groups of hunters from USA and Spain to do mostly Wings and Big Game.
All these made that Damian decided to create his own hunting operation, not before have traveled to different hunting areas in Argentina ( Entre Rios, Cordoba, Corrientes, La Pampa and Rio Negro) learning and pick up the best tips from each area.
Also Damian went to the USA to stay in different Plantations and Hunting Ranches in Georgia and South Carolina, improving his language and his knowledge of the hunting world.

Aime was born and grew up in Belgium and migrated to the US in 1961.
Started hunting when he had enough strength in his finger to pull a trigger, Aime hunted small game in Belgium on the family farm and others. As he grew up he had great opportunities to hunt outside the country in such places as Germany for wild boar (also in the Ardennes in Belgium), in Spain for redlegged partridge and pheasant, Finland for caribou (reindeer) and moose.
Shotly after arriving in the U.S, Aime started hunting big game deer in Illinois, Colorado, Wyoming, Missouri, Wisconsin, Montana and others. Aime has been guiding elk hunters in Colorado since 1989.
Now he claims to only cook for the hunters “getting too old for hard labor“, he says. Aime has also done lots of small game hunting in Illinois and Iowa. After retiring from Deere, he took on several African safaris to Zimbabwe, South Africa and Namibia and enjoyed the spectacular bird shooting there: sand grouse, doves and pigeon, partridge and of course the infamous guinea fowl.
In recent years he has been to Argentina and Bolivia to shoot waterfowl doves and pigeons. Shooting in diverse locales as Cordoba, Santa Rosa and Bahia Blanca.
Aime will be happy to answer your questions from first hand experience in many of our premium shooting destinations.

Flyfishing Around The World would like to introduce Alejandro Montiel to its international sales staff and advisory board.
Fly Fishing Around The World is proud to present  Alejandro (Ale) Montiel as our golden dorado fly fishing expert and guide. Ale  resides in JuJuy Argentina and knows the Dorado, or "gilded one" as he likes to call them, better than most. He is very familiar with all of the important waters in Southern Bolivia and Northern Argentina.  Ale now 43 started his fishing career very early as a small boy, fishing all of the rivers in his area with his father and uncles, mostly for subsistence. Wich gained him a vast array of techniques, knowledge and experience in the ways of the dorado.
Ale began his professional life, learning fly fishing from master fly fisherman and friend  Pedro "Liquin" Santillan. Ale was taught the beauty of catch and release fishing, wich he says, so touched him the first time, after catching and fighting a giant dorado on a fly, bringing it exhausted, to his hand, feeling its strength  return as he slid it back into the cool current. He claims that moment changed him forever.
Ale specializes in providing his clients with a  first class angling experience of a lifetime, fishing the rugged, clear waters of the Tarija river, from May through Nov,
also in the rivers in Salta Argentina.
Alejandro and WingShooting the World Look forward to serving you in  pursuit of the Golden Dorado.
