5 Star Sporting specializes in Dove Hunting in Cordoba, Argentina – internationally recognized as the “best in the world”. 5 Star is U.S.-owned by Ron Brittian (a Texan who relocated to Argentina in 2000) and a small group of his avid sportsmen/businessmen friends. Our business is new, but we are not new to the business. We have been customers ourselves with several Argentine outfitters over the past 15 years, so we fully understand and cater to the discriminating tastes of the international sportsman.

Our first class hunting operation is managed by Fernando del Carril, a seasoned and gracious outfitter with more than 20 years of experience in hosting international hunters. In addition to high volume Dove Hunting, we offer with our Preferred Partners an appealing variety of other hunting, fishing and sporting combinations.
5 Star hunting programs are truly memorable - both the shooting and the delicious Argentine "asados" (BBQs) at mid-day in the field. The dove are here by the millions (estimated to be 30-50 million birds, which do not migrate). They are considered by the locals to be a "pest", annually destroying over 40% of the valuable crops - a huge economic impact. There is no season or bag limit; the birds fly year round from sun up to sun down – all day long. In a spot of good feeding, resting and water, it is estimated that 1 million dove can go through it in just 1 hour!
 You can expect high volume, intensive shooting (800-2,000 rounds per day) with a bird count of 40-80% depending upon your shooting ability. Each hunter has their own Bird Boy who collects the birds and spent cartridges, keeps your gun loaded and a refreshment in your hand, and changes your shooting location as the birds change their feeding/water flyways.
Our hunting guides have access to the roosts and large amounts of brush land near the feeding areas, flyways and water. We suggest using 20 gauge shotguns due to the high volume of shooting. You can bring your own guns or you can rent guns from us. We suggest 2 guns per person because the barrels get very hot. We sell you the shells, since you cannot bring them into Argentina.
•We can accommodate up to 14 guests in our all new, luxurious, 10,000 Sq.Ft. Gaucho Lodge – built and furnished to the finest standards. We have a wonderful staff: property manager, gourmet cook, on-site personnel, maids, etc.
