Located one hour west of Saskatoon, in the heart of the Saskatchewan flyway, you will experience some of the most exciting Saskatchewan Snow Goose hunting of your life. This is one of the best locations for Snow Geese, White Fronted Geese (Speckle Bellied), Canada Geese, as well as many species of ducks and upland birds. This area is one of their first stops along their long journey south, which makes these birds very inexperienced to decoying, and allows for extremely successful hunts. There is an abundance of cropland and large bodies of water in our hunting area that holds and constantly draws huge numbers of birds throughout the entire fall hunting season.
   
You will have the opportunity to have two hunts a day: a morning Snow Goose hunt and an evening duck or upland bird hunt. Each hunt is fully guided by owner and experienced hunters Chad Ward and Tyler Boyle. You will be very comfortable in our blinds and lay down recliners hunting over 60 dozen full body snow goose decoys including flying and spinning decoys to add movement to the spread.
We limited our camp to one group at a time that way hunters who choose Prairie Sky for their hunting adventure are not only guaranteed the best possible fields each and every day but an all around exciting and memorable experience that will leave you wanting to come back year after year
  Early morning wakeup around 4am for breakfast and coffee and then head out to the field and set up for a morning waterfowl hunt. We encourage you to help out with the setting up of the decoys as it helps to get a true feel for the whole hunting experience and guarantees we are ready for the morning’s first birds . The morning hunt is an awesome experience with thousands of Snow Geese, Canada Geese, Speckle Bellied Geese and ducks filling the skies. We have over 60 dozen Snow Goose decoys, flyers, and rotary decoys, as well as electronic goose calls to lure in the weariest of geese. Comfortable lay down recliners are supplied as well as lay down blinds if you choose. We like to have everything set up by six am. With our all-inclusive hunts, bird cleaning is included. If you choose to book the Basic Hunt package you must clean your own birds. If you prefer not to help out with the cleaning of the birds, we will clean the birds (breasting only) for you at a cost of $2 per bird. We do find that with everyone pitching in and helping out, the cleaning of the birds can be a fairly quick process where we all can tell stories and relive the hunt.
