The Ainsworth family dreamed of having a world class hunting and fishing operation in Alabama. The dream turned to reality in 2001 when the family acquired 1400 acres, with over 3,000 acres of huntable terrain located in Northeast Alabama. The family wanted to create an experience that would create lasting memories.
The property, located in Browns Valley, is some of the most beautiful in the state consisting of hardwood bottoms and the mountains overlooking Lake Guntersville.

The Experience
At Dream Ranch, we hunt on all privately owned family land where the main focus is developing habitat for wildlife. Your hunting party will have exclusive use of hundreds of acres of this land for your hunting enjoyment.
Your Professional Guide will be an Alabama native who grew up quail hunting and is an avid outdoorsman.

Quail Hunting
Dream Ranch located in beautiful Brown’s Valley consists of 1,200 acres of which 500 acres are managed especially for quality game bird cover. You can enjoy traditional bobwhite hunting in plantation style, experiencing a wide variety of terrain. Grain Sorghum, millet, lespedeza, and winter greens have been planted, and along with our native food sources, provide quality food and great habitat for quail. Along with plentiful game, Dream Ranch has an abundance of cover: pine plantations, open fields, feed strips, field borders, and the hardwoods of Brown’s Valley.

Your Professional Guide will be an Alabama native who grew up quail hunting and is an avid outdoorsman. Each guide will have 6-7 well trained dogs from our kennel that include pointers, setters, and brittney’s.
You will be in our specially designed and modified Kubota all-terrain vehicles from which you will have an excellent view of the dogs as they hunt for coveys. Your hunt can be modified to your specifications.
Deer HuntingFor Whitetail Deer, Dream Ranch offers deer hunting opportunities to make every “Hunter’s Dream Come True.” These hunts are for mature, big -bodied, trophy bucks that are offered at extremely attractive prices. For most of our guests this will be the largest whitetail they’ ve ever taken and would give them bragging rights at any deer camp in the nation. Whether you like stand hunting, stalking, or rattling for your Dream Buck you can do it all at Dream Ranch.
The Habitat
We maintain numerous feeding stations( Big Horn Feeders) filled with Southfresh Biologic Deer Feed. We feel this is the best feed on the market and it shows in the deer we are producing. We also plant warm and cool season plots for our deer which increase and help with antler development.
We have World Class Shooting houses that can easily accomodate 4 people and are great for hunting your “Dream Buck.”
All hunts are one-on-one with a guide and our guides are ready to help you locate the “Buck of your Dreams.”
Alabama Deer Breeding
In Alabama we have strived to produce the largest and best quality herd of Whitetail deer in the southeast. We think we are well on way to achieving this goal, and continue to better our genetics by using the best sires in the country. Our A.I. fawns have a Boone and Crockett average of 300 inches on the sire side. Our doe herd in consistenly rated as one of the top herds and Dream Ranch holds the record for the highest selling deer in the state. We credit this to our intense management plan and continually scrutinizing our deer to make them the best.
FishingLake Guntersville
Located in north Alabama between Bridgeport and Guntersville, Alabama's largest lake contains 69,100 acres and stretches 75 miles from Nickajack Dam to Guntersville Dam. Guntersville Lake fish habitat includes milfoil and hydilla weed beds from which big bass explode on topwater baits.
Though most noted nationally for large bass, Lake Guntersville is home to quality angling for a variety of fish. Historically, about two-thirds of the anglers on Guntersville target largemouth bass, although bream (bluegill, redear sunfish, and longear sunfish), crappie, sauger and catfish attract their fair share of anglers.
