The carefully restored "Chauncey Ranch Stone House" along the banks of the Agua Fria River has a rich past entertaining the likes of John Wayne, Wayne Newton, Roy Rogers, and other notable entertainers.
Set among the 100's of acres of horse pastures, barns, and arenas the property is also a Wildlife Preserve which offers fishing and canoeing in a two-acre lake, hunting pheasant and Chukar, shooting a round of Sporting Clay, or exploring nearby ghost towns on horseback.
Centrally located, the Stone House is a short drive from the red rocks of Sedona and Oak Creek Canyon, the historic "whiskey row" and antique shops of Prescott, several golf courses, and the ski slopes of Flagstaff.
Today's "Stone House at Chauncey Ranch" is a part of the YMCA Chauncey Ranch and has a special pricing structure for YMCA members. It is ready for your family reunion, family getaway, or corporate retreat. Catered meals available or provide your own. Rentals by the day or week.
A full equestrian facility with arenas, barns, and riding lessons available. Special activities can include: round ups, overnight rides, trail rides, and barbecue rides. Bring your own horse and board them at the Ranch for free
