An American original. A tradition. A legend. Duck hunting in Arkansas is everything you have always heard about, read about, and talked about. It is synonymous with world-class wingshooting. From the flooded grain fields and hardwood timber, to the oxbow lakes and cypress sloughs, everything about Arkansas is a waterfowler's paradise.

Wildlife Farms' 1,750 acres rest along the White River, which is considered one of North America's most important wintering grounds for migratory waterfowl. The property has over 5.5 miles of river frontage and contains flooded, old growth hardwood timber, oxbow lakes, and flooded fields specifically managed for waterfowl.
A mallard hunt at Wildlife Farms is like no other. The guides are seasoned sportsmen who know White River duck hunting and a good joke or two. After a full country breakfast at the lodge, the hunt begins from large, heated, well-hidden blinds. Throughout the morning, guests enjoy the unique camaraderie that is only found in a duck blind, while enjoying coffee, hot cocoa, snacks and a mid-morning "duck blind sandwich," which in itself, is worth the whole trip. The majority of North America's ducks hold their fall meetings here. Why not join them?

World Class Bass Fishing
Spring and summer offer fantastic fishing at Wildlife Farms, but do not take our word for it. Just ask professional anglers such as: Bill Dance, Denny Brauer, George Cochran, Jimmy Houston, and Mark Davis, who have all fished our murky waters.
Recently, Wildlife Farms served as the location for the first annual Bass Cup International Tournament, which hosted 12 of the top professional anglers in the world.
Our catch-and-release policy on largemouth bass has made Wildlife Farms well known for its quantity and quality of fish.In addition to the natural fishing environment, Wildlife Farms has two man-made lakes stocked full of a variety of fish species. Catfish averaging between 8 and 15 pounds are common and can be caught and kept in large quantities.
Five natural oxbow lakes are home to big and healthy largemouth bass, crappie, catfish, and bream. Created and nurtured by the White River, these lakes overflow with aquatic life and offer deep pools, varying structures, towering cypress trees, and a network of channels.

"This is one of the most unique places in the country, it has everything an outdoorsman would ever want to do, and the facilities are the finest. When you come here, you don't want to go home." Bill Dance, Bassmaster Magazine September/October 1997

While working our trained bird dogs, guests can take in the open fields, hedgerows, and woodlands, which provide an authentic and challenging upland landscape.
"This place is great! The staff and guides are all first class. I have never had a better hunt or stay in my many hunting travels. The two days of great duck hunting and the big 12 point buck that hangs on my wall will always bring me back to Wildlife Farms." Fred Buckner, Stormville, New York
Clayshooting & Activities
Open throughout the year, the shooting range at Wildlife Farms is a popular gathering place for guests, particularly in the afternoons after a morning of duck hunting. Guests can avail themselves of both traditional and modern clay target venues. The shooting range has a computerized, five-stand sporting clays layout, as well as trap and skeet.
Licenses, waterfowl stamps, and quality ammunition are available. In addition, all game harvested are processed and neatly packaged for your trip home. Call for season dates and specific information.
Trophy Deer Hunting
If you are searching for sporting activity after winter, Wildlife Farms is the place to be. Springtime on the property is a time for blossoming flowers and warm southerly breezes blowing up the White River.

For years, old-timers raised in the Arkansas Delta have told stories about the massive whitetail deer roaming the White River bottomlands. Most of their stories are true, and there is no better place to pursue big buck deer than at Wildlife Farms. Deer imported from Wisconsin, centuries of genetics, sanctuary, high-quality agriculture crops, and management have developed an unusually large trophy deer herd at Wildlife Farms.
An autumn deer hunt at Wildlife Farms will be one you will never forget. Guests hunt from strategically positioned covered box stands where deer activity is greatest. Bottomland timber, dense brush, old fields, and planted food plots make up our unique habitat.
Turkey Hunting

If you are searching for sporting activity after winter, Wildlife Farms is the place to be. Springtime on the property is a time for blossoming flowers and warm southerly breezes blowing up the White River.
The woodlands are mostly quiet, except for the gobbling and drumming of Old Tom turkeys. Wildlife Farms and the 155,000 acre White River National Wildlife Refuge are home to a quality wild turkey population.
"Some believe the next Arkansas state record deer could come from Wildlife Farms." Larry Rea The Memphis Commercial Appeal, August 24, 1997
