Our customized jeep delivers you to your quarry’s turf – one of our premier quail fields nestled in acres of piney woods. Osceola Turkey

The turkey hunting at the Club is exceptional. The Osceola Turkey is known as the most elusive of the turkey species and the hardest to hunt. The Club’s well maintained habitat and native cover make for a perfect place to try for your trophy tom. In fact, Lovett Williams, noted turkey biologist has certified that Glichrist Club’s turkeys are true Osceola’s.

Whitetail Deer

Gilchrist Club’s nearly 27,000 acres is a jig saw puzzle of oak hammocks, pine flat woods and cypress wetlands, perfect for whitetail deer, along with the native forage, every year the Club clears and burns to provide new growth for our deer herds. We also have acres of planted food plots all over the property as well as feeders and mineral licks to ensure a healthy population of whitetail. Our experienced guides spend all year learning the habits and territories of our animals so we can ensure great hunts for our members and their guests.

 Wild Boar

Glichrist Club with its huge oak hammock and cypress wetlands is the perfect place to hunt wild boar. The Club offers stalk, still and dog hunts. We offer both harvest or “catch and release”.

Alligator

Florida’s nationally-recognized alligator harvest program creates a unique sporting opportunity for the discerning hunter. You’ll pursue your quarry in the pre-dawn darkness aboard an airboat or custom-built johnboat. Gliding along the quiet surface of the lake, among the cypress trees, you constantly scan the pool of light from the guide’s lantern. The massive treble hook and line lie ready on the bat’s deck.

When you find him, the gator will not go quietly. He will show you the raw power and the drive for survival that have enabled his species to endure for millions of years.
