Baker Quail Plantation has no bag limit on quail, which we feel makes a statement of the flight quality of our birds.
Baker Quail Plantation began in June 2003, by a small group of Florida born and raised quail hunters, with the acquisition of the first tract of land. The initial tract was designed with roadways, drainage and food plots specifically for the gentlemen's tradition of southern style Bob White Quail hunting. A four bedroom, two bath lodge was constructed with central heat and air, tile floors with satellite TV's and radios and full kitchen.
The initial, current and constant objective of Baker Quail Plantation is to provide a hunting experience that brings many of us back to the days when there was an abundance of Bob White Quail in the woods.
In March 2006, the second tract of land was acquired which is directly across Bill Davis Road from the initial parcel. This tract is over twice the size of the initial tract, the volunteer pines have been thinned, with roadways, drainage and food plots designed for Bob White Quail hunting. This parcel contains a heavier pine tree canopy and undergrowth witht he initial parcel containing a more open tree canopy and heavier undergrowth.
