Watch the Pros. Since the days of the first plantations, American sportsmen have known the true joys of pursuing bob-white quail. The likes of Washington and Jefferson reveled at the sight of pointing dogs lacing back and forth across expansive fields, and the suspense of walking into the feathered whirlwind of a rising covey.
Sights, Sensations, Camaraderie.
Unlike our forefathers, Quail Creek Plantation now uses horsepower to comfortably traverse thousands of acres of habitat sculpted with grand oak hammocks and slash pine forests. Our guides will lead you into exciting coveys at your pace, making sure there’s plenty of time to enjoy the sights, sensations and camaraderie that have made fine quail hunting so special, for so long.
Creature Comforts.
There is more to Quail Creek Plantation than just quail hunting. As our guest, you have the option of casting a line for a gargantuan bass in a private lake or testing your skills on our sporting clays course.
And we’ll insist you take a few minutes to sit in a front porch chair or wander beneath the ancient oaks and watch the Spanish moss dance in the breeze. Above all else, we want you to enjoy a special place in old Florida where life is still as good as it was meant to be.
Enjoy the Experience.
Past the concrete and the crowds is a special place where Florida still exists as nature meant for it to be. It is a landscape unchanged since the days of de Leon and Osceloa, where gnarled cypress rises up from virgin swamps and the uplands are carpeted with lush native grasses.

The place is called Quail Creek Plantation, where bird hunting can be enjoyed as it, too, was meant to be.
Hunts We appreciate your interest in turkey hunting at Quail Creek Plantation. We hunt the true wild and elusive Osceola gobblers under 100% fair chase conditions.
Our season begins the third Saturday in March and runs for six weeks. Quail Creek Plantation offers a wide variety of activities for the outdoor enthusiast. All of our meals, accommodations and entire hunting experience are presented in a down home atmosphere with a focus on Southern hospitality.
The Spring turkey hunts include three nights stay with full accommodations for lodging and meals, two and one half days of hunting, guiding service, sporting clays, hog hunting, fishing, quail hunting and of course the harvesting of one Osceola gobbler for $2,900.
The extra activities such as quail hunting and fishing are provided at no extra charge should a hunter tag out early on his gobbler. A deposit of $1,450 is required to book the hunt and the balance is due at the time of the hunt. Upon booking a complete list of what to bring items and logistic arrangements will be sent.
Continental Pheasant Tower Shoots
On a few select days, we host our continental pheasant tower shoots: 400 Ringneck pheasants will be released from a tower surrounded by 12 shooting stations. The price of the hunt includes a day of wing shooting and fine dining at Quail Creek Plantation. A gourmet meal with assorted wines and beer will be served in the field on white china in the style of the classic safaris of the golden era. Festivities will begin at 9:00 AM.
Birds will be cleaned, packaged, chilled and made available to all shooters following the shoot.
