Welcome to Booger Bottom, the premiere Southern hunting destination! For years, family and friends have experienced superb hunting and outdoor experiences on our property. Now you can have the opportunity to enjoy our hunting and hospitality.
Deer hunting in Georgia is legendary in the Southeast. Our swamp bucks attain trophy status through intense management and ethical harvest of mature bucks. We offer you the opportunity to be guests of ours, and perhaps take home a trophy of a lifetime.
Springtime turkey hunting brings memories of that tree-rattling gobble -- that scratch of leaves. We have some of the best turkey woods in the Southeast. Join us and experience the thrill of the one-on-one hunt for Eastern Wild Turkey. It's a beautiful experience amid the blooms of the dogwood and scent of the honey suckle vines.
If you like wing shooting, our Southern-style quail hunts or fast-paced dove shoots will keep your gun barrel warm and your heart thumping. The thunder of a rising covey offers consistent action, and watching the dogs work is often the best part of the hunt. Or taking a hard-flying, crossing "grey missile" is a memory you can recall time and time again.
If you prefer fins to fur and feathers, Booger Bottom offers some world-class pond, small lake, and reservoir fishing. Our ponds and lakes are stocked with trophy sized bass, bream and catfish. We are just a short drive from famed Lake Eufaula on the Chattahoochee River.
So make time to visit Booger Bottom Hunting, and take home a lifetime memory
Booger Bottom - Southern Bobwhite Quail Hunting

One of the South's oldest traditions is hunting "The Prince of Game birds" -- the Bobwhite Quail. You never forget the soft "peep" and the rustle of leaves. Followed by an explosion of feathers that seem to go every which-a-way. If you swing right, and luck is with you, one or two may fall.
At Booger Bottom Hunting, we can show you a little slice of Quail Heaven. Our quail hunts consist of a morning hunt with our guides and dogs pointing the way to coveys and single bird opportunities. You and your hunting companions will enjoy the comfort of the quail buggies until birds are spotted or pointed. Then the fun begins!
We hunt with 2 shooters per vehicle for safety and to give you maximum shooting time. No buggies with 4-6 hunters aboard where you only get to shoot every second or third covey. Our guides will keep you in birds, not sitting and waiting a turn to shoot.

Lunch at mid-day may turn out to be the best part of your outing, with a fine home-cooked meal and plenty of sweet tea.
Your afternoon hunt will only be more difficult because of your full belly and perhaps a desire to nap instead of hunt. But that first covey flush of the afternoon is sure to wake you right up.

Booger Bottom - Eastern Wild Turkey Hunting

River bottoms, hardwood flats, plantation pines, year-round green fields ... the ultimate habitat and breeding grounds for Eastern Wild Turkey. Booger Bottom Hunting has an abundance of turkey, perfect habitat, and easy-to-hunt terrain. Located in the heart of Southwest Georgia and the banks of the Chattahoochee River, Booger Bottom is the place for you to challenge a trophy Tom and take home a lifetime memory.
Your morning will start before the rooster crows with a Southern-style breakfast. As the sun begins to rise, you'll be listening for that big gobbler to sound off. Your guide will get you into position, and try to sweet-talk Old Tom into range. If you like, you can call to him yourself. If you are lucky and good, you'll soon be hoisting the big bird over your shoulder.
About noon, if your bird proves too wise and wily, you will return to the lodge for a hot home-cooked meal with desserts and cold ice tea. After a short afternoon break, we'll head back out to set up in the edge of one of the feeding areas. Perhaps you and your guide can spot a tom that is looking for a little "afternoon delight", and convince him that you are a sweet little hen too shy to come into the field.
There's really no hunt quite like it. Join us for a few days -- try it once -- you'll be hooked!
Hunt Details:

Dove Hunting
A fall afternoon in South Georgia is reason enough to be outdoors. Add good friends, great food, and the excitement of a Southern Dove Shoot, and you've got a memory in the making.

Meet up with your hunting companions and our other guests for a Southern lunch and strategy session. Draw for a stand along the fence row or a hay bale. Move your dove stool, ammo and shotgun, cooler, and other comforts to your chosen location and get ready!
Doves fly at different times of the day, so be sure to listen for that call of "bird"!? No low shooting is allowed, and shot size 7 1/2 or smaller is preferred. After the final flurry, your guide will help you get your gear together and wish you on your way with (hopefully) the key ingredients to several Bacon-Wrapped dove breast dinners.
If you have questions or would like to book a large group, please contact us for additional details.
