An unforgettable hunting and fishing adventure awaits the discerning sportsman at Flat Creek Lodge fish and game. Amid a pristine and private woodland preserve in eastern guests savor the refined comfort of unique lodging, distinctive dining, a luxurious spa, and memorable evenings.
Wild game flourishes in the cover of Flat Creek Lodge woodlands and ponds. Sportsmen hunt bob white quail, pheasants, wild turkey, Mallard ducks, white tail deer and wild boar. Fishermen find our lakes teeming with trophy-sized large mouth bass, bream, blue gill, and crappie.
HUNTING
Flat Creek Lodge specializes in traditional hunts for bob white quail and pheasants using retrievers and pointers. Our resident outfitter leads exciting hunts for our native wild turkeys. Another of our popular sports is the Continental Tower Shoots for ducks and ring-neck pheasant. Strategically placed tree stands for white tailed deer, specifically designed for safety, offer easy access and swivel seats. Flat Creek Lodge raises its own game to insure the health and quality of our birds.
Experienced dog handlers staff our Flat Creek Lodge kennels and manage our trained Brittanies, German shorthairs, pointers, setters, and retrievers. You may choose to board your own dog in our clean and conveniently located guest kennels.
Experience the thrill of hunting wild boar in our 75-acre swamp and bottomland habitat. Flat Creek is working closely with the State of Georgia Agriculture Department in the design of its wild boar habitat, the genetic selection of its boar, and inspection of its program.
CLAY SHOOTING
The design of Flat Creek’s skeet range provides a unique experience for both the novice and the experienced clay shooter. Configured in the shape of a baseball diamond with four towers at the bases and a teal at the pitcher’s mound, the outfitter controls the complexity of the shoots. Stationed in a control power directly behind home plate, the outfitter operates a state-of-the-art software program to determine the tower source for the clays, number launched, speed, angle, size, and even good or bad birds. Up to five shooters participate in a stationary position at home plate, increasing their safety. With its own separate pavilion called the Sporting Club, the course will be one that you will want to shoot again and again.
FISHING
Fishing in Flat Creek’s 240-plus acres of spring fed ponds and lakes yield a bounty of trophy sized large mouth bass, bream, blue gill, and crappie. Fishing styles are cane pole, rod & reel, and fly-fishing.
LODGING
Flat Creek Lodge guests discover a stress-free refined comfort in our distinctive lodging. Each themed lodge room is unique in its design with art and accessories created by local artists. All rooms open onto a long verandah that looks out on the lodge’s main lake. Our 13 lodge rooms and 7 new uniquely appointed cottages can accommodate a maximum of 60 guests. Recent additions include the new fully equipped fitness center and Japanese Mineral Bath House.
Maybe a new setting away from the office will help your productivity! Conduct corporate business and conferences in our state-of-the-art, yet comfortably rustic boardroom. Communication capability includes T-1 broadband service, Wi-Fi connection, and video conferencing equipment.
End the day with entertaining evenings in the warm conviviality of the dining and gaming lodges. Daytime excursions and golf outings can also be arranged.
