 Find yourself in Lawyer Creek canyon where a mix of pheasant, Hungarian partridge, quail, and chukar flourish. Hunt the valley for pheasant and coveys of huns & quail or test your skills on our famous chukar hunting on the ridge lines overlooking the canyon. Hunt over the Flying B Ranch's German Shorthairs and English Pointers; they're our pride and joy!
Our wingshooting adventures include THREE- DAY / FOUR-NIGHT and TWO-DAY / THREE-NIGHT packages, as well as a CAST-and-BLAST package combining two days of wingshooting with one day of steelhead fishing in a single great package.
Our hunting areas are accessed by customized vehicles. Each outing is a personalized experience providing plenty of shooting with no bag limits. Our rates are offered "all inclusive" which includes lodging and meals; beverages; professional guides; bird dogs; airport shuttles; shotgun shells; shotgun if needed; processing and packaging of game birds; shipment of birds to your address; wingshooting and fishing licenses.

There is no better place than the Flying B Ranch to enjoy fishing for trophy steelhead paired with our world-class wingshooting. As a dual Orvis Endorsed wingshooting and fishing Lodge, you will get the chance to fish the nationally recognized Clearwater River, as well as hunt behind some of the best upland hunting dogs in existence.
CAST-and-BLAST packages combine two days of wingshooting with one day of steelhead fishing in a single great package. Base your trip right out of the luxurious Flying B lodge and experience a true sportsman's paradise. Idaho's Clearwater River is home to the legendary "B-run" steelhead that can produce that fish of a lifetime. Depending on the age of the fish, it's not uncommon to see fish caught 10 to 15 pounds with many exceeding 20 pounds!
Wingshooting is found right out the back door of the lodge where sportsmen can pursue chukar on the open slopes, the pheasant on the valley floor or the canyon fields for Hungarian partridge. Hunting over our very own lines of German Shorthairs and English Pointers will prove our dedication to providing world-class wingshooting. Our hunting areas are accessed by customized vehicles, and fishing is done out of drift boat. Each outing is a personalized experience providing plenty of shooting with no bag limits and majestic views of the river.

 High Mountain Grouse
Grouse hunting with the Flying B will make you feel like you are on top of the world. Views are breathtaking as you walk in on that German Shorthair holding point in that sub-alpine scrub brush. With two species of grouse to hunt, bag limits for these wild birds are 4 per day. A day of grouse hunting may be added to any of our early season wingshooting trips.
There is nowhere else in the country like it. Traveling to the heart of the Rocky Mountains in search of what some believe to be the most sporting free-range upland game birds in the world. Blue and Ruffed grouse flourish in the mountain ranges surrounding the Flying B Ranch giving our guests a chance to fill their bird vests with limits of both species.

 The Flying B Ranch holds exclusive outfitting rights to over 740,000 acres of the Clearwater and Nez Perce National Forests under special use permit from the United States Forest Service. Combined with the 5000 acres at the Flying B Ranch, we offer our guests one of the largest land concessions in Idaho for hunting elk, whitetail and mule deer, black bear, cougar, bobcat, moose and turkey.The Flying B offers both Backcountry and Lodge hunting: hunt fall Whitetail & Mule Deer, winter Cougar & Bobcat, and spring Bear & Turkey from the lodge. Backcountry Hunts are available for Elk, Deer, and Bear.

STEELHEAD
We offer Steelhead and Salmon fishing adventures from our Orvis Endorsed fishing lodge from October 1st through March 15th. We fish the Clearwater River, a nationally recognized fishery, and we have access to over seventy miles of this pristine water.
A typical day starts out with a hearty breakfast at the lodge followed by just a short drive to one of many boat launches. Once on the water, our guides will drift or power you into the best fishing holes the Clearwater River has to offer. Once a fish is hooked, the adrenalin starts pumping!
 
Steelhead fishing is conducted from October through Early March. Depending on the time of your fishing excursion; we have spin tackle, traditional fly rod and spey rod equipment to hook onto that big one. Drift boats and Jet boats have allowed us to reach more fishable river water and enhanced opportunity. We have made sure that regardless of what mother nature dishes out, we will give you the best opportunites to hook into that world renowned Clearwater River Steelhead. With fish weighing over 20lbs, you will find this to be a rewarding sport to land such an aggressive and large fish. River fishing does not get any better than this!
SALMON
We offer spring Salmon fishing adventures from our Orvis Endorsed fishing lodge during the months of May and June. Fishing is at its best during the morning hours, so this trip is very popular to do in conjunction with a bear or turkey hunt from our lodge. For a diversified sporting trip, enjoy fishing in the morning and afternoon hunting for black bear.
Salmon can range from 15-30 lbs with varied bag limits depending on the predicted fish run. These amazing fish travel over 500 river miles to spawn and are a delicacy to put on the dinner table!
