Welcome, my name is Lynn Buswell. I am the owner own Jagermister Outfitters, LLC. We are a family owned and operated guide/outfitting service, I founded Jagermister Outfitters in the Spring of 1996 and have enjoyed many successes since that time.I am known Nation wide for the quality of my hunts and commitment to my clients.I am also know as Iowa's Premier Waterfowl and Whitetail Outfitter. I am on many Pro Staffs as well. Here hunting is not a hobby it is what I do 24/7, 365 Days a Year.
I provide guided hunting opportunities in Iowa and Missouri for trophy Whitetails. I provide waterfowl hunts on both the Mississippi and Central flyways. And pursue turkeys in Iowa as well as Missouri.
We are located in SE Iowa. South Eastern Iowa is a "Big Buck hotspot" known nationwide or it's deer quality. Add in a QDM program and ANTLER KING products, and the results are unreal. Iowa's waterfowl and turkeys hunting opportunities are virtually untapped.
We offer Spring snow goose hunts in NW MO, SW Iowa, Nebraska and South Dakota. Our hunt rates are very affordable given our successes.
All hunts are fair chase and include lodging unless otherwise noted.
About Us
In the last few years Iowa has been credited with producing some truly outstanding bucks, this came as no surprise as we have been hunting Iowa's corn fed giants for over 30 years. Iowa's genetics and habitat are second to none. To harvest a record book buck, you need to be hunting an area that has them, check the books, Iowa is the destination of true Trophy Whitetail hunters, and we know Trophy whitetails and how to take them. As far as experience is concerned I have hunted most big game species and waterfowl across the Nation and parts of Canada. My best bucks have ALL came from within 10 miles of my home, to date I have taken 17 P&Y whitetails, and 5 Gun kills(shotgun & Muzzy) netting over 160". I have a firm understanding of big bucks and how to take them. We do not pressure our deer.
We are living our dream, pursuing waterfowl in the mornings, monster whitetails in the afternoons. Our guides are the best in the Midwest. Jagermister Outfitters has some of the highest standards in the industry, others make many claims, our proof hangs on our walls and the walls of many past hunters.
I allow only 10 lease land hunts per year on my managed leases.

I also offer unguided public land hunts on over 20,000 acres of public lands.
I have never and will never pressure or over hunt my leases to make money. All of my leases have been in QDM for a minimum of 10 years, and most have established food plots. Although Iowa is the Whitetail "hotspot" it is still hunting and success depends upon each hunter’s ability. Our archery hunts have a 125" minimum, Gun hunts 135".
Our Waterfowl and Turkey hunts are some of the best in the nation. At Jagermister Outfitters hunting is not just a hobby, it is what we do 24/7, 365 days a year.

Waterfowl
Iowa's Premier Waterfowl Outfitter"
We have over 35 years experience hunting waterfowl. our guides are some of the most knowledgeable and experienced in the world of waterfowl hunting. We offer a fully guided experience for either ducks or Canada geese. Depending on the situation, we may hunt from layout blinds in a field, on a bank or from one of our custom equipped boats. We use GHG decoys and continuously scout to give our clients the best opportunity.
We also offer a "no bird" cancellation policy or change of date policy if there are no birds in the area during the time of your scheduled hunt as determined by Jagermister Outfitters. Remember these are migratory waterfowl and slow days occur, even with birds in the area. All Iowa hunts include breakfast and lodging. Full day hunts include lunch. Our all inclusive package includes a full day's lodging, breakfast, lunch, as well as an evening meal. Gratuity and adult beverages are not included.
We also offer fall duck/goose hunts in NW Missouri near Squaw Creek NWR. These are field hunts, conducted from lay out blinds over GHG Canada-snow-duck decoys spreads.
These hunts do not include food or lodging and book very fast.

Spring Snow Goose
Snow Goose Hunts: Fully Guided Spring Snow Goose Hunts in Missouri, Nebraska and South Dakota
I have been hunting/guiding to Conservation Order since its inception. Our leases are located in NORTH WEST MISSOURI near Squaw Creek National Wildlife Refuge and Central and Northeastern SOUTH DAKOTA. These areas attracts and holds hundreds of thousands of Snow Geese during peak migration.
We hunt picked crop fields or near stock ponds from layout or bale blinds. The hunts are fully guided with decoys and electronic callers provided. The MIssouri hunts do not include lodging; we assist hunters in making reservations near the leases we are hunting. There are many nice, clean, and reasonably priced rooms available. The MO hunts take place from mid February until the geese leave the area, usually mid March. The South Dakota hunts,run approamitly March 18 until the geese leave the area. We are always trying to stay ahead of the migration.Come prepared to be amazed!

MISSOURI AND SOUTH DAKOTA SNOW GOOSE HUNTS
Mid February-Mid March
3 Day Weekday Hunt. Hunts start early AM and end at 5 PM day s 1 and 2. Day 3 the hunt ends at noon.
Cost $450.00 per gun. This hunt is available Monday-Wednesday only.
2 Full day weekday hunt, Thursday and Friday-$400.00
2 Day hunts may be available Monday-Tuesday,this is subject to group size and other bookings. (We will mix groups up to 8 MAX to fill dates).
To reserve a field for a single group, 8 hunters are needed, smaller groups can pay hunt fees for 8 to reserve a field.
2 Day weekend hunt. Hunts run from early Am until 5 pm.
Cost $450.00 per person.
There will be a MAXIMUM of 8 hunters per day. Smaller groups will be mixed to fill dates.

Deer
Jagermister Outfitters offers a fantastic semi-guided whitetail deer hunt in Southeast, Iowa. This is the destination of true Trophy Whitetail Hunters. Opportunities to take P&Y (125+") as well as B&C (170+") class bucks are available on these hunts. We only allow 4 hunters in each season on our managed leases. Most leases have been in QDM for at least 10 years and have established food plots. We exclusively use ANTLER KING products. All hunts are semi guided and include lodging. Semi-guided means stands are set and scouting is done prior to your arrival. We are located in Iowa’s Zone #7.
With over 30 years of whitetail deer hunting experience rest assured we understand big bucks and how to take them. We encourage the harvesting of mature bucks only. We have a 125" min archery hunts, 135" min gun hunts. When you book a hunt with us you are hunting un-pressured deer on managed leases. All hunts are fair chase and although Iowa is a hot spot, success still depends upon the individual hunter’s ability. Our archery rut hunts are some of the best in the nation. We are known Nationwide for our deer quality, and have a waiting list on our hunts. Others claim to be the best… our claims hang on the walls of our past clients.
ARCHERY
We offer semi guided Trophy Whitetail hunts, semi guided means; stands are set and scouting is done prior to you arrival, you get here and hunt. All hunts are fair chase on managed leases or public hunt areas (over 20,000 acres of public land.)
We are located in Iowa's zone # 7. Most leases have been in QDM for at least 10 years, success is based upon hunter’s ability. Our archery season runs October 1 thru early December. Iowa’s rut peaks mid November.

Turkey
This is fast becoming one of the greatest hunting opportunities in Iowa. The number and quality of birds is amazing. These are trophy hunts for Eastern Wild Turkey, our birds typically weigh 25lbs plus. We have a very high success rate on spring guided hunts with over 30 years of turkey hunting experience. We offer expert calling for shotgun, muzzle loading shotgun and archery hunts. Whether you want to set up and call or try a spot and stalk hunt let us help you get your next trophy bird. We fully offer guided hunts on over 15,000 acres of land. The Iowa season runs mid April - mid May with the state beginning to accept nonresident applications in January.
