Welcome to the largest pheasant hunting resort in America! Either Guide Field hunts or European Shoots we have it all! Hunters have come from all over the world to enjoy our Kansas pheasant hunting experiences; and our famous European Style Pheasant shoots for 20 years. Our guided hunts are done right! We mix a professional staff, a beautiful Kansas farm, great flying birds, and highly trained gundogs, plus all you can eat lunch. We end up with a very high quality guided pheasant hunt that few hunting resorts can match. ALL HUNTS HERE ARE NO BAG LIMIT! Our pheasant hunting is with pointing dogs, not walk and block like many other places. We believe bird hunting is with bird dogs! In fact we have over 200 dogs working at the resort! TRADITIONAL FIELD HUNTS for 2012 Hunting season!
You have two choices if you are planning a pheasant hunt.You can get a group of hunters together and drive all the way to western Kansas, South Dakota, Iowa, or other hunting states. You all line up in a row and start walking across miles of grain fields (if some farmer will let you hunt) pushing the running pheasants to the end. When the bird gets up (if you see any), everyone shoots (you never know if you got one) and the hunt is over. Or you can drive a lot less to Show Me Birds Hunting Resort, where your farms are waiting for you. Your guide releases several highly trained pointing dogs, you enjoy watching these dogs as much as shooting birds, and yes you will see plenty of birds! You can take turns shooting with your friends and enjoying a day of pheasant hunting the way it should be! Plus most states have a 3 or 4 bird limit; not here! No bag limit at our resort! In today's economy hunters need to do the math before getting in the truck and leaving for a hunt. Let's use Dallas,Tx. to central South Dakota as an example. That is an 1800 mile trip, 28 hrs of driving, fuel costs about $240.00, 4-5 nights at a motel $350.00, license $110.00, meals about $150.00, trespass fees to get on the good farms about $200.00 and now figure about 5 days off work, maybe more, for hunting and travel time. Compare that to our resort from Dallas Tx. We have 660 miles trip, 11 hrs of driving, fuel costs about $85.00, one night at our motel $70.00 for two (comes with breakfast & free bar), license $17.50, meals are one dinner $15.00, one Pm package A hunt and one Am package A hunt for the next morning, and now plan on a one overnight get-a-away; so little time off work. The South Dakota limit is 3 birds a day, here there is no limit and package A comes with 4 birds a hunt. The no bag limit comes from shooting birds that the hunters before you missed. About 60% of the groups get free extra shooting at these bonus birds. Add it all up and see that we are HALF PRICE but more birds. Very little time away from work and family. Prices will vary depending on where you live; but I think you get the idea. Hard choice it is not! Oh, don't forget the dog show here not the walk and block " military charge" style of hunts! We hunt with high quality pointing dogs that were born here and hunt all the time with a huge bird population. Not the norm, but what a show it is. You will never go back to the walk and block after this trip. You can make two or three trips here per season for the same time and costs as the other way. ALL HUNT PACKAGES ARE LISTED BELOW! We offer from 4 birds up to 16 birds per hunter packages! We hunt 7 days a week starting Oct. 1st till the third week of March. PACKAGE E We call this the ultimate hunt! It comes with 8 pheasants or 9 chukars per hunter. Talk about action! Many clients have told us this was the best bird hunting experience of their life. You get one of our professional guides, 2 -3 gundogs, a 3 -hour hunt, bird dressing, bird processing, a beautiful Kansas farm, group photo, lunch, refreshment break, use of clubhouse, and the no bag limit policy. Even our more expensive hunt costs less than most motel rooms at those far away pheasant hunting states! Add up the costs of motel, expensive licenses, fuel, trespass fees, 3 meals a day, days off of work. It is easy to see a one or a two day trip here saves a lot of money!

PACKAGE F This special package is not for everyone. But is needed for a choice group of hunters, so we call it the "ELITE HUNT"! It includes everything the above hunts offer; plus 16 pheasants or 18 chukars per hunter! All in the same 3 hour time frame. Due to the huge numbers of birds, this package has a limit of two hunters in the group. This is for safety reasons. Considering most states have a 3 or 4 bird bag limit, 16 birds per hunt/per person is an extraordinary event! Great package for hunters that do not want to hunt in a large groups, but want lots of action. Or hunters looking for a special event for a birthday, or a once a year hunting trip, etc. You would have to hunt for 5 days in places like South Dakota or western Kansas to shoot at this many birds. If time is important to you and you seldom find time to hunt. If you want something special ,you just found it. The elite hunt at Show Me Birds! Plus as on all our hunts you may find extra birds missed by other hunters. Shoot they free, as always !
HUNT PRICE IS ONLY $535 / per person
Few resorts can offer a no bag limit policy. They all charge extra fees if you harvest more birds than in your package. NOT AT OUR RESORT! These are birds that are left behind by the hunters before you. Of course we cannot guarantee extra birds will be there. It is based on the shooting skills of the hunters before you, but about 60% of the groups get extra shooting, so it is very common and happens each day.
HUNT PACKAGES DO NOT INCLUDE KANSAS SALES TAX OR THE KANSAS CSA LICENSE WHICH IS ONLY $17.50 FOR THE YEAR. CHEAPEST LICENSE IN AMERICA, You will not find a non-resident hunting permit for that price elsewhere!
We sell Kansas CSA hunting licenses here at the office, but you can buy your license from the Kansas Department of Wildlife website at www.kdwp.state.ks.us,to save time and avoid delays in getting your hunt started.

Note: Our resort is NOT your normal hunting preserve! This is not some farmer trying to add income to his farm operation. This is REAL hunting for SERIOUS bird hunters! No one hunts here just once. Everyone leaves planning for their next visit. We run 85% repeat bookings, just look at the comments made by hunters on the front page!
