Kansas Creek Gamebirds LLC is a family owned and operated business. Meet Rod Zohn, the owner who serves as your tour guides and host. A farmer and sportsman that has spent a large part of his life enjoying the outdoors. He hopes to guide you on the bird hunting trip of a lifetime!
KCG's hunts take place on over 4000 acres of prime habitat in North Central Kansas. Renowned for its fantastic upland gamebird hunting, this area most probably has the world's best and most abundant supply of pheasants. Located in the rolling hills overlooking the Republican River Valley, we are midway between Concordia and Belleville, Kansas.
Over half of KCG's hunting acres are designated into controlled shooting areas guaranteeing a hunting experience to be remembered! In these areas, the native pheasant and quail are supplemented with hard flying pheasant, quail, and chukar... yes chukar. If you haven't experienced hunting chukar, believe us, they will test your shooting skills.
Pheasant Hunting

All hunts are guided and 4x4 transportation is provided from the farm to the hunting area. We limit our groups to no more than 4-6 hunters per guide. Tour packages for multiple days are also available.

Hunting licenses to hunt on our controlled shooting area are approximately $17, versus a $72 Kansas non-resident fee. A Kansas resident or non-resident license is also acceptable at KCG. Hunters born after July 1, 1957 must have a valid hunters safety number.

Hunters are required to wear a blaze orange vest and or hat and some type of eye protection. There is no alcohol permitted before or during the hunt. Our guides can also offer group recommendations to keep your hunt safe.

We provide an enthusiastic, gunless guide with or without our trained dogs. All birds are processed and bagged ready for your ice chest. All hunts on our controlled area will have NO limits on numbers of birds harvested. Chukar and Quail hunting are included in these hunts and package rates. You provide a shotgun, ammunition, ice chest for processed birds, outdoor clothing, and a fun group.
Turkey Hunts
We have been providing guided Turkey hunts for the Rio Grande sub-species for a select few clients for the last few years and now would like to give you the opportunity to enjoy a Kansas Turkey Hunt.

CUSTOMIZE YOUR TRIP
We can combine Duck Hunting in the morning with a trip to the lake for some Crappie fishing in the afternoon. Perhaps you will bag your Turkey in the morning and hunt over our dogs for colorful Pheasants in the afternoon. Like fishing? We can add a trip to the lake for Crappie fishing to your schedule. Too much walking for you to hunt upland birds all day? No problem, just combine a half day of pheasant hunting with one of the less strenuous options we offer. Whitetail hunting is an option also. Of course, seasons and weather must be considered, but we will work with you to insure the best hunt experience possible.
Whitetail Hunts
We have been providing guided Whitetail hunts for a select few clients for the last few years and now would like to give you the opportunity to enjoy a Kansas Whitetail Deer Hunt.
