Pheasant and Quail
Trego & Graham Counties are in the "heart" of Northwest Kansas, which is known as "The Pheasant Capital of the World". The large number of acres enrolled in CRP and planted to corn, grain sorghum, and wheat make excellent cover, feeding, and resting habitat for the natural hunting of wild ringneck.
Kansas Quail hunting is fast gaining deserved notoriety and ranks near the top with the best in the nation. With the increased acres of CRP, Northwest Kansas offers good quail hunting and excellent pheasant/quail combination hunts.

The Saline River Hunting Lodge offers a unique and comfortable atmosphere displaying wildlife of Northwest Kansas. The lodge provides complete accommodations for up to 6 people. A full home cooked breakfast is included with lodging. Reservations are required.
We also offer dog pens and 1 large holding pen plus 45 acres of native pasture for your horse's needs.
