Hunters who visit our lodge and land find exceptional hunts on over 5,000 acres. A family owned operation located in South Central Kansas, we know the land and we see some of the best whitetail deer, upland birds and turkey roaming free across our prairie. We promise you'll have a quality experience in a relaxing atmosphere with self-guided or guided hunts.
You'll be hunting on privately owned land with various terrain that we personally know and have hunted ourselves. The properties are a mix of grassland, cropland and wooded creek/river areas. Because of the great food supply, we offer hunts for rifle/muzzle deer, archery deer, turkey, upland birds, doves, ducks and geese.
Lodging is available and if you want to bring your own bird dog(s) we have inside pens.
We have a "Farm Shop" which will become the "Hunters' Shop" during hunting season. There is an inside/outside area available for cleaning all game.
We are within a 45 minute drive of Wichita and airport pick-up is readily available.

Bird Hunting
Pheasant & Quail
CRP and crop residue fields are abundant and make for a great pheasant / quail hunt.
Pheasant Season
Nov 3th, 2007 - January 31st, 2008
Pheasant Limit: 4 cocks in regular season, 2 cocks in youth season. Pheasants in possession for transportation must retain intact foot, plumage, or some part that will
determine sex.
Quail Season
Nov 10th, 2007 - January 20, 2008
Pheasant / Quail Rates (includes lodge accomodations):
Self - Guided, wild birds - $150 per day per hunter
Guided, wild birds - $ 200 per day per hunter
Guided, released birds - $250 per hunter per day
Doves
Early September will bring tremendous dove hunting. Sit in the weeds or grass by a farm pond and enjoy wing shooting at its best.
Dove Rates(includes lodge accomodations):
Self Guided - $100 per hunter per day
Combo Hunts
When the seasons overlap, we offer combination hunts. Successful, early morning goose hunts can be combined with pheasants for half a day and ducks in the evening. A turkey hunt could possibly be added also.
Combo Hunt Rates (includes lodging and guide): $350 per day per hunter.
Fully guided hunts with our dogs, your dogs are welcome for a semi-guided hunt. Inside pens available. Small groups may be combined
Turkey Hunting
Scouting suggests there will be an excellent hatch of turkeys in 2007. Local farmers want a few more turkeys killed this year so come on out and get your share! There are many flocks of 50-200 turkeys in our area.

Limit -- Any individual who has purchased a spring turkey permit is eligible for one second turkey game tag. Spring game tags are valid for Units 2 and 3 only

Duck & Geese Hunting
Local farm ponds, Cheney Lake, the Arkansas River, and the Ninnescah River provide for an excellent hunting opportunity for ducks & geese. The geese like the irrigated corn, milo, and soybeans as well.

The Irish Creek Lodge is a remodeled , very large, 2 story farmhouse and will provide you a very comfortable "home-like" atmosphere. Check out the list of amenities to the right that are all included free with your stay (yes - we have wireless internet access!)...
