Heggemeier Game Farm & Kennels is a private hunting area situated in north central Missouri, just 30 miles north of Columbia. We have been in the business for over 25 years working with sportsman worldwide. With over 2000 acres of prime habitat we can offer spectacular hunting for Pheasant, Chukar, Quail, Hungarian Partridge, and Mallard Ducks. Our farms can also offer both wild and released hunts for quail and pheasant. Deer hunts, either rifle or bow are available, or you may arrange to hunt other species including Wild Turkey, Squirrel, Woodcock, Snow Geese, Canadian Geese, or Dove. We have the most experienced guides and dogs for truly unlimited hunting opportunities. Our ranch offers some of the best wild quail hunting in Missouri. All native species hunts must be conducted within the Missouri Department of Conservations rules and regulations. Bring your own dogs if you prefer and get ready to have a hunting experience unrivaled anywhere in Missouri.
 
Turkey Hunting
Missouri has the largest eastern wild turkey population in the United States. When you come to hunt with us, you are provided with your own individual area to hunt with plenty of opportunity to harvest a turkey. With over 2000acres to hunt there is plenty of room for everyone. Deer Hunting
 
We practice Quality Deer Management on all our property! All bucks harvested must be a minimum of 8 points, with an inside spread wider than the ears. Each hunting package includes lodging, game transportation, and box lunches. Hunters are welcome to bring their own stands. Yearly acreage leases are also available.

Lodging
 
We are pleased to announce that we are now able to provide our hunting guests with modern, on site lodging facilities. This three bedroom home will sleep up to 6 guests comfortably. There is also a kitchen, family room, and dining room for your convenience. Most of our guests like the front porch best as it provides a place to BB-Q, gather for some good conversation or just sit and watch a beautiful sunset in solitude.
Rates are $30.00 per person per day with a minimum of $100.00 to book your stay.
Kennels
 
We offer some of the finest English Setters in the country. Our bloodlines go back over 20 years of quality breeding for hunting pheasants, quail, and ruff grouse. Our setter bloodlines are Heggemeier and Grouse Ridge and are a medium range hunting dogs. Our brood bitches are OFA certified . Our pups sell for $350.00 and come with a guarantee. We only raise one litter a year for quality. We also have started and finished dogs for sale.
Our quality staff will train all breeds of dog for what the owner needs or wants their dog trained for. Stop by and see our quality pups or browse our gallery for photos of available stock.

Sporting Clays
 
Welcome to "Heggemeier Sporting Clays". Our course is open 7 days a week 8am to 9pm in the summer months and 8am to 5pm in the winter months. Our 10 stand course is laid out in a natural 2 acre wildlife area. We use different sizes of sporting clays for the customers to shoot. We can provide you with high tower dove and pigeons. Teal and mallards. Woodcock and grouse. Rabbits. Quail. Fur and feather as well as flushing pheasants.
We are now forming summer leagues for men, women and kids. Come and have some fun with friends and family.
The cost is $15 for 50 rounds and $30 for 100 rounds.
