Welcome, Are you looking for Great Kansas City Quail and Pheasant Hunting? You have come to the right place!
At Newland Gamebird Farms, you pay only for the birds you want released. All of our Pheasant and Quail hunts have no bag limits. You may also shoot any quail, chukar, or pheasant that are lost by other hunters. There is no minimum number of birds on any hunt. You may bring your own dog. We have hunting dogs available for those who don’t have their own dog. We also have guides available. Our hunts are morning, afternoon and all day hunts. Morning hunts are from 9am to 12 noon. Afternoon hunts are from 1pm to 4pm.
Come hunt the Newland Family Farm. Newland Farm has been in the Newland family for over 60 years and the tradition continues today. At our farm you will experience a warm family welcome and southern style hospitality. Our hunters come as clients and leave a friends. On our farm we have 240 acres of great pheasant and quail habitat, about half is CRP land.
Our hunting season is from September 1 through March 31.
At Newland Gamebird Farms our hunts are morning, afternoon and all day hunts. Morning hunts are from 9am to 12 noon. Afternoon hunts are from 1pm to 4pm.

The hunting is always great at Newland Gamebird farms. We have 240 acres of prime hunting land. 120 of our hunting fields are on CRP land. The rest is cropland that has been converted into an area to hunt, this year it was planted in Sudan grass.
We are located about 40 miles East of Kansas City. We have guided hunts, we also have dogs that can be rented. No clubhouse. This is our 6th year in business.
Our hunts are price by the bird, so you can hunt any size hunt you want. We have both 1/2 and whole day hunts. We have special hunts for women and youth. We also have special hunts for ministers. If you are looking for the type of hunt you had on grandpa's place back in the 60's that is what you will find at Newland Gamebird Farm, LLC. We have both native and released birds. We have quail, chukar and pheasants.
Waterfowl, Wild Turkey, and Rabbit hunts are also available. These hunts are conducted in accordance with all federal and state laws. We also have a 16 acre lake that is open for fee fishing.

We also have special hunts for youth, women and novice hunters. We have special STEP OUTSIDE events throughout the year.
We have special hunts for ministers. Any minister and
one guest, can hunt our fields for leftover birds. Normally these hunts are on Mondays. You must have a reservation for these hunts. For more information call us.

A Few Things You Should Know When Visiting Newland Gamebird Farms !
- No Alcohol allowed! Before or during a hunt.
- No Shot Larger than # 6 allowed.
- If born after Jan. 1, 1967 you must have passed a hunter education course.
- You must have a valid Missouri hunting license. If not, a licensed hunting preserve permit, may be purchased on site.
- A blaze orange article of clothing is required.
- You must sign our release and watch a short safety video before your first hunt.
- You must enjoy your hunt!
