A bird hunt or fishing trip can be added as a side trip. After successfully bagging your big game, you are welcome to hunt birds, varmints, or coyotes for the remainder of your stay.

Antelope Oct. 11 - Nov. 8 Deer Oct. 25 - Nov. 29
Antelope Antelope tags are on a draw basis due by June 1. The first choice area is hunted out the "back door" of our ranch and offers quality antelope.Hunting is done in open rolling sagebrush prairies. Hunting is done by 4x4 trucks, glassing, and then stalking. Shots can range from 150 yards to 300 yards. The average shot is 200-250 yards. Antelope can be hunted in combination with Whitetail or Mule deer the last part of October and the first week of November.
Whitetail Deer A short drive from the ranch puts you into prime Whitetail hunting areas. Nearby Milk River holds large numbers of Whitetail deer. Scattered brushy creeks and open rolling grasslands make up 20,000 acres of private leases.Whitetail hunting can be our least physical type of hunting. Hunting methods used are: blinds; glassing from vantage points overlooking bedding and feeding areas; and, stalking. Hunting with 4x4 trucks or walking open areas can produce quick shots. Exceptional quality bucks are found in all our Whitetail habitat.
Mule Deer We hunt open badlands, the Missouri River Breaks, and a walk-in wilderness area for Muleys. Public land north of our ranch holds large numbers of Mule deer. Good quality bucks are found in all areas. Much of our hunting is done by 4x4 trucks, glassing and stalking. All Mule deer hunting can be done from the modern accommodations at the ranch headquarters or hunting from a comfortable travel trailer camp in the Missouri River Breaks as an option. The Breaks offer scattered pines and rough country. We use 4x4 trucks, glassing and walking as a means of hunting in this area. We can match your physical capabilities to the type of hunting and terrain that will give you a good hunt. Hunting is also done on 20,000 acres of private lands.

Elk
Top notch archery elk hunts take place on Public Lands in the Missouri River Breaks and the Burnt Lodge Wilderness Area near Fort Peck Lake. The Missouri River Breaks tend to produce some of the biggest bulls in the state, offering superb Pope and Young opportunities. We can hunt from a comfortable travel trailer base camp using 4x4 trucks for transportation, or we offer a primitive spike camp in a wilderness area. Spike camp meals are "do it yourself" meals by the guide and hunter. Hunts can be from the base camp or split between the spike camp and the base camp. Pack animals are available to pack out game. Good physical conditioning can enhance your opportunity of success in the spike camp. We seldom go a day without seeing elk.Terrain varies from open scattered pines, rough coulees to sharp steep draws. The elevation varies from approximately 2000' at lake level to 3100' near the spike camp.
We also offer private land archery elk hunts on a limited basis. The camp is an 8x28 camp trailer. Hunters and guides do the meals. The terrain is hills and coulees with cedar and pine tree cover, with developed seeps and springs for wallows and water. This hunt is not as physical as most archery hunts. Mule Deer Archery Mule deer can be hunted on private land from the ranch headquarters or hunted in combination with elk or antelope on public lands. Our private land lease of 20,000 acres offers hunting water holes, glassing from high ridges and stalking in sharp coulees with good cover. The area offers good numbers of Muleys and Pope and Young opportunities.
Whitetail A short drive will take you to private land for top notch Whitetail hunting with large numbers of deer and good quality Pope and Young bucks. We mainly hunt Whitetails on the Milk River and its tributaries. Hunting is done primarily by tree stands on trails between bedding and feeding areas. You can also combine this hunt with antelope. All archery hunts can be combined with upland bird hunting or lake fishing by boats. In most years an extra doe tag is available for purchase over-the-counter for deer and antelope. Archery Whitetail, Mule deer, and antelope can all be hunted from the ranch headquarters.
Antelope Antelope hunts are from the ranch headquarters. You can walk out of the ranch yard and be hunting in a few minutes. Hunting is done on private and public lands. Methods of hunting are sitting at water holes, blinds, stalking and using decoys. The terrain is rolling open sagebrush plains. Our antelope numbers are good with plenty of Pope and Young bucks.
Fishing and Summer Activities
Fishing in our area is done mostly for Walleye on Fort Peck Lake. Our guides have many years of tournament experience on Fort Peck Lake for these fish. The Walleye action starts to pick up around the first of June and continues strong until the lake freezes late in the year. The Walleye average between two and four pounds, with six to ten pound fish caught fairly often. Most of our fishing is done by trolling spinners, lindy rigs, crank baits, or casting jigs. While fishing for Walleye, many other species have been caught such as: Northern Pike, Perch, Small Mouth Bass, Sauger, Saugeye, and Lake Trout.

Fort Peck Lake holds the state records for Walleye (16.29 lbs), Sauger (8.81lbs), Saugeye (15.66 lbs), and Small Mouth Bass (6.09 lbs). Fishing is also available on the Milk River.
