Why choose me?
My passion has always been competing with Labs in Retriever Field Trials. I love all sporting breed dogs, love to watch them work. The best part of the hunt is to watch the dogs. With this in mind I encourage you to bring your and hunt with YOUR own dog. I hope to build the clientele who not only like to hunt but even more then shooting birds is watching their dogs hunt and comes back in the summer to keep their dogs in shape or for quick tune ups. To me it is all for the dogs. Don’t get me wrong I like to hunt, but I love to watch the dogs work! Running the boarding kennel & the game preserve is not a job for me it is dream.

When hunting season is over
Once hunting season is over, we will continue to have birds on hand to keep your dog in shape and sharp. I also keep a field trial permit which allows you to come and train your dogs at my place. Check my web page in the spring for more info on what I will offer. I will have chukars, pigeons, and maybe quail. I also have remote traps, to hold the birds, blank 22 pistol, all which will be included in the price for you use.
Once preserve closes I will have more information.

About the birds
My flight pens are over 14 feet high. You can see some constructions photos and see how it was built. There is 22 ton of sand in the bottom. The birds have a great deal of cover in the pen and I keep bulk feed and water in front them at all times, so they remand as wild as possible. My pheasants are some of the best flyers you will ever hunt. They are feed a special diet and are very health and WILD birds.

About the Dogs
For those not lucky enough to own a 4 legged hunting buddy we do guide hunts with Labs and
Llewellin Setters. All of my labs are trial dogs who are all age qualified in license field trials held by AKC. They are super eager and will do anything to get the birds. I just bought a Llewellin Setter who I will use on the game preserve and field trial. If a bird is down my labs will not miss it. This not a brag, just FACT. Pheasant, Chukars, Quail Hunts, and wild Partridge hunts. If it is getting hard for you to get around and walk but still like to hunt, we have gator and ATV available for an additional fee of $50. Starting in Sept 1, 2009 - $18 a pheasant nobody can beat the price! Give us a try.

About the facility
Stonewall Boarding is a state the art facility on 106 acres in upstate NY. Planned & built by a breeder & trainer with 30 plus years experience. WE ARE THE BEST. We offer a shooting preserve. Dog training on grounds specially groomed for retriever training. We are beginning a canine physical therapy program. We are 25 minutes from exit 25A, off the NYS thruway. We occasionally have Labrador retriever puppies and gundogs for sale. Our gundogs have been sold all over the country. Our dogs are a dream to hunt over or with!

Tower Shoots Pigeons 80 birds $120 a gun
80 bird pigeon tower shoot minimum of 16 guns. $120 a gun. Pigeon tower shoot it will be fast and furious. Loads of fun. You bring the guys we will supply everything else. We supply Breakfast, Lunch.
