Hunts Offered - Sierra Blanca Outfitters offers Cow Elk Hunts and Trophy Bull Hunts. Whether you would like to hunt rifle, muzzleloader, or get face to face with an Elk using archery equipment, Sierra Blanca Outfitters offers it all. All hunts are fair chase here at Sierra Blanca. We welcome all hunters; young, old, and the mobility challenged.
Weapons - We offer Rifle, Muzzleloader, and Archery Elk Hunts. We require a minimum caliber rifle of .270.
Land - Your Hunt of a lifetime could take place on either public or private land. All public land hunts are done through a draw system, which increases your odds compared to the preference point system. We Have guaranteed landowner tags for those who are unsuccessful in drawing a tag for public land. We offer fully guided hunts and also guide only hunts. Public or private land, you will experience a quality hunt.

The Best Time To Hunt New Mexico Elk
With the pre-rut Beginning in early September and the peak rut coming around the second week of September, we recommend booking your hunt as early as you can so you can 'Experience the Bugle.' Time periods following the rut can be an exciting time to hunt as well.
