Once a tobacco and cattle farm, Fox wood's acreage is comprised of over 20 fields surrounded by luscious acorn rich hardwoods and pines. Every year each field is planted in mixture Milo, soybeans, pearl millet, buckwheat, and sunflowers. A number of supplemental quail releases throughout the year coupled with leaving the fields unharvested offers the outdoor sportsman a hunt of a lifetime. Great habit for Big Bucks and Turkeys.

Foxwood Plantation offers a wide range of hunting opportunities. The plantation offers variety of membership options and non-member hunts.
Quail Chukar & Pheasant Season: October 1 - March 31

We custom-tailor your hunt to fit your specific needs. No more than 3 hunters in a group. Each group is welcome to use their own dogs or Foxwood Plantation can provide well-trained dogs at an additional fee.
All hunters must wear hunters orange.
Foxwood Plantation can provide services for 6-9 hunters for the morning as well as for the afternoon hunt.
The club house at Foxwood Plantation offers comfortable sitting area, hot showers, and an inviting stone fireplace where you can relax and warm yourself. Lodging near by and numerous restaurants.
Package Hunts for Non-Members
30 Quail Hunt - Half Day With Guide and Dog - $450 With your dog. - $400
60 Quail Hunt - Full Day With Guide and Dog - $900 With your dog. - $800
Pheasant Hunt 10 Released Pheasants - $250 Chuckar Hunt 15 Released Chuckars - $225

Minimum release for any hunt: 30 quail or 10 pheasants or 15 chuckar *No minimum release hunt will last more than 2 hours. Additional Bird Fees for Members Quail - $8 each Chuckar - $12 each Pheasant - $22 each

Annual Membership Fee - $2400 All Memberships, with the exception of the deer hunting package, include the following: Four night stay in the Foxwood Clubhouse Fishing in Foxwood's private-stocked fish impoundments Deer hunting rights on entire plantation from bow season thru gun season. Deer Hunting

Come and enjoy trophy deer hunting from 20 comfortable tree stands positioned over food plots, clover, soybeans and oak bottoms. Foxwood Plantation has been carefully managed its herd for the last six years. Recent hunts have produced several nice bucks.

Dog Training

Wildlife Consulting Services

Foxwood Plantation offers professional wildlife consultation performed by Mike Hester. Mike has been a wildlife consultant for more than ten years and he specialized in developing quality wildlife habitat for Quail, Deer, Wild Turkey, Dove, Wild Gees and Ducks.
Mike worked with USDA as well as a number of universities (N.C. State, V.A. Tech., V.A. State, N.C. Att and more) in number of occasions in different states across the united states. He also received several awards from USDA for his work
We will design and set up your farm, plantation, or any amount of land to suit your needs for wildlife. We use a variety of warm season grasses: Switch Grass, Big Bluestem, Little Bluestem, Indian Grass, and Love Grass. Food Sources: Sorghum, Millets, Partridge Peas, Bio-Color, AmQuail, Kobe & Korean Lespedeza, Chufa, Clover, Chicory, Sawtooth Oak Trees, and others.
