Maybe you are too young to remember bird hunting in the 50's and 60's. Perhaps you do remember and miss those days. Located in rural North Carolina, Rock Haven Shooting Preserve and Kennels can help you relive days long past.
Hunt our 120+ acres over dogs with stamina, desire and style! We can provide quality
trained dogs for your hunt, on request. Our dogs are all steady to wing and shot. You
can hunt and mix quail, pheasant, Tennessee Reds & Chukkar.
Our experienced guides will show you the way, manage our dogs, and ensure a fun and
safe hunting experience.
A typical hunt starts with a safety briefing, followed by some warm up shots on our
skeet range. Transportation is then provided to the selected hunt location. Birds are
placed randomly in pairs or small groups. We allow #7 1/2, 8, 8 1/2 or 9 shot.
All hunters are required to wear a Blaze orange hat or cap, and shatterproof eye
protection. Brush pants and good boots are highly recommended!
