It has been highly managed the last 35 years, with limited guided hunting services that last 15 years. On the north side of the Cimarron River, there are rolling sand hills covered by sagebrush, plum thickets, food plots, wild sunflowers, ragweed and native forbs. The south side has much the same, with a joining acres of wheat, alfalfa and sorghum fields. These food plots make ideal guided quail hunting, turkey hunting and whitetail deer hunting in Oklahoma.
