Join us for an early or late season canada goose hunt
Snake Creek Outfitters offers world class goose hunting in the prairie pothole region. Experience the thrill of hundreds of geese working your spread in a single morning. The Coteau region of South Dakota is an incredible breeding ground for canada geese. Our primary hunting grounds are in the very heart of this region. Our waterfowl hunts take place on the small sloughs and potholes in the area, as well as from layout blinds in recently harvested crop fields. The recent population explosion of our resident canada goose flock has resulted in a very liberal limit for our early resident goose season (2011 was eight per hunter per day). This gives our hunters the opportunity to enjoy great days afield with lots of shooting and great action. The hunt of a lifetime awaits as our experienced guides can insure you and your party will enjoy all South Dakota has to offer. South Dakota offers a early season non-resident canada goose permit . For applications and information, go to www.gfp.sd.gov.
