Larger or corporate groups above 12 will be scheduled with a min. of 2 Pro-Staff Guides & dogs.
Guest Dogs All property at Dakota Wingshooting Paradise is conducive to excellent hunting dog habitat; your controllable hunting dogs are always welcome here. Huge pheasant flushes can occur in the hundreds & late season several thousand. Clients’ dogs that range up to 30 yards max., not beyond, are allowed. Guarantee does not apply to un-controllable or out of range client dog(s).
Corporate Hunting Dakota Wingshooting Paradise has the staff and ability to handle larger-corporate group hunts. High volume shooting is common with these groups; please feel free to contact our staff for assistance in organizing any corporate hunting reservations. We are very resourceful; and our staff can customize a hunt to fit your specific needs. Corporate references are available upon request
Hunting with larger parties is done by selecting blockers to post the opposite end of the field where the birds are driven. Rotating walkers and blockers ensures everyone gets their barrels hot! Smaller groups will utilize a more manageable area, like food plots, or smaller fields. This allows smaller client groups the ability to hunt land that is not overwhelming to their group size.
Our hunting program constantly rotates the use of these areas, NEVER OVERHUNTING or stressing the land.
Pheasant Hunting Guides
Dakota Wingshooting Paradise employs only the TOP area guide professionals each season. Our “Pro-Guide Staff” team is composed of 4 to 10 full-time and 2 to 6 part-time, quality individuals and dogs.
Our staff personally guides each group through-out the length of their stay. We employ only professional, personable individuals, with an emphasis on: 1.) Customer Safety in-Field- 2.) 100% Customer Satisfaction. Each staff member is trained in all aspects of pheasant hunting in South Dakota, well in-advance of any group’s arrival. Several of our returning pro-guide staff have more than a decade of professional guiding experience in South Dakota. Some also double as part-time comedians; however they must always refer back to their guiding positions at DWP to pay the bills. Their demeanor and personality are sure to produce a smile.
In fact, our guides are so well liked that many of our returning guests “request” the same pheasant hunting guide for the following year!
If you do not have a hunting companion, NO problem, DWP will take care of everything for you!
Our field athletes (hunting dogs):
DWP uses the term "athlete" to describe its hunting dogs, we purchase and professionally train only the absolute best for our hunting operation. In the past, our field athletes have been featured on many nationwide hunting programs, all of which filmed exclusively at DWP.
Our staff has a minimum of 4 veteran, well seasoned, professionally trained, guide dogs at your service. The dogs used by our staff are not the “average” hunting dog! The majority of these dogs have retrieved several hundred, if not thousands of pheasants over the years. This is due in large part to the volume of pheasants harvested within our properties. Past guests have stated: “The price of admission was worth it, just seeing these dogs work”.
Many of our dogs have titles in Hunt Test competition, some carry titles as Master Hunter/ Pointing Retriever Champion, Senior Hunter, etc.
The complete combination of our professional staff and dogs makes Dakota Wingshooting Paradise the “Cream of the Crop” for pheasant hunting in South Dakota!
We invite you to experience the Dakota Wingshooting Paradise hunting and staff!
