Dove Hunts
Dove Hunting in West Central Texas has always been a hunting highlight of the area. With a plethora of native birds and being in the fly-way for the migrating birds, there's no need to drive for hours for quality dove hunting. West Texas dove hunting is the great secret of Texas Winged Hunting. Large stock tanks, native sunflowers, wheat, and milo make dove hunting on the 4B fast and plentiful.
Mid-day sporting clays are available at the lodge for those who want to practice their shooting or just have some fun between hunts. Satellite TV with college football games are on in the air conditioned lodge during mid-day.
Guide service includes transportation to and from local fields, in field ammo re-supply and refreshment service. Cleaning and packaging of the birds is provided by our guides.
At the 4B Ranch we are committed to the quality of your Dove Hunting experience and it is our pleasure to be personally involved in all facets of your stay. From the hunting and guiding and the high quality food, we strive to provide the highest level of care and hospitality for our guests. Please view a sample of our typical meal planning.
Parties of up to 30 people can be accommodated in the Main Lodge and Ranch House. The 4B Ranch and its lodging facilities can be reserved exclusively for your party. Corporate parties welcomed!

TESTIMONIALS
Here's what some people are saying about the hunts on the 4-B Ranch.
"I spent over a year researching, visiting and hunting with many different outfitters in West Texas. After several visits that resulted in poor hunts and incredibly indifferent hospitality experiences, I am very fortunate to have discovered the 4B Ranch. Your Russian Boars are incredibly large aggressive animals that bring a real thrill to the hunt! Although I did not take one of your magnificent whitetail deer this year, from what I saw in the field, they would, without a doubt, make any trophy deer hunter proud.
With you as my guide, we took down a 340 pound Russian Boar at 7:00 in the morning and a truly exceptional Black Buck at 7:00 in the evening that very same day! I must say, it was really the first time in my life; I really felt and understood the excitement of a big game hunt.
On the morning hunt, the boars were everywhere; foraging, fighting and uhhh..., trying to find a mate! On the evening hunt the sun was going down, the boars were all around us and the bobcats were screaming when the Black Bucks started moving. We spotted a beautiful Black Buck about 200+ yards out and were preparing for the shot, when a second black buck stepped out of the tree line about 100 yards to our left. With almost all the daylight gone, I set up on the second buck and got him! It was really very intense and exciting; I really had to be prepared and pay attention since there were so many animals with little time to set up for the shot or they would be gone!
I appreciate the knowledge and enthusiastic professionalism you bring to the hunts, while at the same time being attentive to my needs with good food, good conversation and excellent accommodations. I look forward to visiting you next year for a bigger boar and for what I am sure will be my first trophy whitetail deer!
Thank you very much for a great hunt and even greater hospitality!" Stephen R. Parker, Van Alstyne, Texas
"May this letter find you and your family in the best of health and spirits. I am writing to express my appreciation for your services rendered. I have hunted many ranches but none were as welcoming as yours. I enjoyed your hospitality, accommodations, meals and conversations. It is without any reservations, I recommend your ranch to hunters who seek a first class hunting experience. I look forward to returning to hunt for that trophy blackbuck. " Gerald Muhammad, M.Ed.
"My son and I have hunted many large game ranches in Texas, as well as hunting trips to Africa and Canada. You won't find a more passionate Russian Boar Breeder than Paul B. He has gone to great lengths to preserve the pedigree of these magnificent animals. You will also find first class accommodations and true Texas hospitality. My son and I highly recommend this hunt to the serious trophy hunter." Richard & Will McElrath, Houston, Texas
"My group wanted to thank you for the incredible hunt we recently had at the 4-B Ranch. Your hospitality is second to none, the accommodations were incredible, and the meals were better than my own. I didn't want to leave! Thanks Paul for the incredible memories." Don Boston, Conway, New Hampshire
"My son and I had a wonderful time at the 4B Ranch and want to thank you for being personally involved with our accommodations and our hunt. The ranch is beautiful and the Russian Boars are amazing. We're really proud to have harvested such a beautiful animal. Thanks again!" David Weaver, Austin, Texas
"Just a short note to tell you how much Branden and I enjoyed our hunt with you. I had been looking for a ranch where I could take a pure blood european boar. You sure did live up to your promise. Not one great boar but two. Brandon had a great time taking his first two whitetails, buck and a doe. Paul, you sure treated us like family. The food was so good. The two boars will take thier place with the other 70 mounts in my trophy house. Maybe after Africa in August this year and Argentina in April of 08 I can come back for that black buck. May the wind be at your back except when you are stalking a trophy. John Barndardt, Concord NC
