WCR Quail Hunting Resort lies in the gateway to Texas, Red River County, where hunting is and has always been a way of life. Our main attraction is Quail Hunting.

We do this work out of desire and the love of the sport of hunting. We possess some of the finest guides and dogs, and our property consists of 1200+ acres of well-managed land. We at WCR would like to extend a warm welcome to you and yours. When hunting at WCR, you will find yourself escaping to another time. We offer genuine American hospitality and good ol’ Southern cooking. Quail Hunting

All hunts are equipped with custom designed hunting buggies for your comfort and enjoyment.  These buggies make getting in the field almost as much fun as the hunt itself.
With over 1000 acres of some of the most beautiful land in Northeast Texas, managed by a full time staff to provide the best wildlife habitat you can find.
 Our dogs live at the ranch and are trained by our in house trainers.  These dogs hunt year round in order to stay sharp and make your hunt even more enjoyable. One of the most enjoyable things of hunting is to watch the dogs work.
 WCR guides are top notch and will accomodate your needs in the field and make sure your safety and fun is well looked after.

Archery

Try your hand at our 3D Archery Range, set in the woods in a realistic habitat. Rates for archery is $25 unlimited per day.

Fishing

You can fish on the lake at the ranch or we can guide you to other privately owned waters, which we have special access to. Fly or bait cast!

Sporting Clays

Price: $25 for 90 skeet
 Steel Shot only, which are available at the lodge.

 WCR covers a wide variety of extra functions for your enjoyment.

 TRAP is offered on our range for hunting guest.

 When staying at the lodge during hunting season, which runs from October 1 thru March 31st, as well as off season by appointment or special event.

 Simply let us know what time to have the trapper ready and it will be yours.

Our lodge, cabins, and hunting facilities are over 10,000 SQ feet of space to accomodate our preferred clients. You will find it on the banks of the Old Mitchell Lake. A 16 acre lake dating back to the early 1900's, with a great view and many amenities, to include Pro Shop, Pool Table, Card Tables, Satellite, Hi Speed Internet and much more..

Year round services include off season lodging which is available for Rehearsal Dinners, Weddings, Receptions, Cooperate Meetings, Retreats, Family Reunions, Class Reunions etc...We offer meeting and party facilities with catered meals.

Fishing, Sporting Clays, Archery, Shooting Range (for sighting rifles) Safety instruction classes are available and mandatory on your first visit.
