"The best day of quail hunting I've ever had in my life." Chuck Wechsler, Publisher of SPORTING CLASSICS magazine
At Joshua Creek Ranch, hunting is the main event from September through March. The diverse terrain within the ranch gives hunters plenty of options for upland birds, deer and seasonal turkey hunting. From creek and river bottom land, to lightly wooded pastures, to dense woods, Joshua Creek Ranch has the perfect habitat to offer hunters a variety of game as well as multiple hunting styles.
Hunters can harvest quail, pheasant, chukar and Hungarian partridge in a season that runs from September 15th through March 31st. There’s also Texas whitetail hunting and Axis hunting, as well as Texas turkey hunting. In addition to a variety of game, Joshua Creek Ranch offers an array of upland bird hunting styles: Traditional Walk-up Shooting with experienced guides and well-trained dogs, European-Style Driven Pheasant Shoots, and Continental Pheasant Shoots.

All hunting is conducted by experienced guides who know the land, the wildlife, and the essentials of safe and successful hunting. They’ll be at your side to find the birds and handle the dogs, or, if needed, instruct and assist.
A variety of wingshooting packages are available as well as trophy deer hunting and Texas turkey hunting options. At Joshua Creek Ranch, a customized package can also be developed to meet your specific needs.
