And perhaps best of all—if you’re looking for a sensational group activity for your next team building or family event—Milford Hills is the Midwest’s premiere location for Sporting Clays, and was recently rated a Five Star facility by the National Association of Shooting Ranges. Sporting Clays is an elegant shooting sport enjoyed by beginners and loved by experts—whether they’re men, women, teens, or corporate CEOs!
Upland Hunting
Experience all the excitement, emotions, and challenges of "the hunt" at Milford Hills. Ten beautiful hunting fields take unique advantage of Southeastern Wisconsin’s lush countryside and rolling terrain, creating the finest hunting experience in the Midwest for both you and your guests.
Naturally wooded areas, cane, and other native flora are supplemented with strips of sorghum, freshly planted each spring. Abundant switch grass is carefully groomed during the summer. All this creates a lush habitat that provides abundant food and cover, thus ensuring robust populations of pheasants, chukars, and quail throughout the hunting season.

The ten 40-acre hunting fields at Milford Hills are a treat for the senses, too. Although rolling, there are no steep hills to climb, and the scenery is simply breathtaking. Enough cover is stripped so that four people can comfortably hunt together. Each field has fresh water access for your hunting dog, supplemented by strategically placed containers for him or her during hotter weather. Please see the membership page at www.milfordhills.com for information on membership pricing and how to become a member. Non-Member pricing is available please call Milford Hills at 920-699-2249 for pricing and to book your hunt.

Canine Training Field
The canine training field at Milford Hills provides an authentic environment where your young dog can gain actual birding experience without the risk of his running away while chasing his first bird. That’s because the training area is fenced, allowing birds to escape—but not dogs—and thus giving you the ultimate opportunity to train your canine hunting partner. The training field is open to members only.
Another fun training area is one of Milford Hills ponds. Located in our Iowa and Remington Fields, these ponds are great for fishing in or training your dog in the summer months. The ponds are open for members only.
Sporting Clays
Don’t entertain them. Wow them.
If you’re in charge of planning a corporate event or party—or searching for a unique addition to a family celebration—you owe it to yourself to find out about Sporting Clays.
Anyone you know who likes golf is simply going to flip over Sporting Clays, even if he or she isn’t a sport shooter. In fact, it’s often called "golf with a shotgun", and the traditions and accoutrement's that surround it are similarly elegant—but definitely more fun!
Sporting Clays was originally invented to hone the skills and reflexes of shotgun hunters. Since then, it has rapidly become a national sport in its own right.
First of all, forget whatever you know about "skeet" or "trap" shooting. Clay discs don’t waft above you in lazy arcs. Instead, they launch at differing speeds and angles—toward you, away from you, across your field of vision, and some even skitter along the ground!

Such random launches emulate actual conditions for hunting quail, geese, pheasant—and even jackrabbits.
Like golf, Sporting Clays provides a great opportunity for people to "get out" and commiserate about business and pleasure. It’s enormously popular with novice players as well as confirmed aficionados, precisely because it’s skill-building, challenging, and can be competitive (if you so choose). Sporting Clays is fun for all skill levels.
All targets are launched in pairs: * Some are "true pairs", wherein both targets are launched simultaneously. * Some are "report pairs", wherein the first target is launched when the shooter calls "pull," and the second is launched immediately following the report of the first shot. * And pairs can even be launched in a "following" sequence, wherein the second target immediately follows the first—usually from the same thrower.
Professional instructors are on site to get you started, and they especially enjoy introducing newcomers to the sport.

Restaurant
The newly expanded Restaurant & Bar at Milford Hills resides in a unique architectural space that’s created in the grand style of a luxurious European-style lodge, offering panoramic vistas of breathtaking scenery.
Co-owners Dan and Lloyd Marks would tell you that the magnificent views and peaceful ambiance alone make visiting their Restaurant & Bar a must. But executive chef Steve Karras would heartily disagree, citing his extensive menu of New American and Nouvelle Continental cuisines as the best reasons for a relaxed visit.

The Restaurant & Bar is open to the public and features full lunch and dinner menus, ranging from casual fare to fine dining—everything from a Stacked Ruben Sandwich to Grilled Pheasant Oscar, and a myriad of choices in between.
The Restaurant & Bar is also the ideal venue for your wedding reception, bachelor party, rehearsal dinner, graduation celebration, holiday gathering, or other important family event. And don’t forget us for your next corporate event or party.
Milford Hills offers a Thursday Night Prime Rib Dinner from 4-9 p.m., a Friday Night Fish Fry from 4-9 p.m., and a Breakfast Menu on Saturday and Sunday mornings from 8 a.m.-11 a.m.
