Wolf River Game Farm is a family operation with a full-time resident manager. Established in 1986, we offer year round hunting with Bobwhite Quail, Chukar Partridge and Pheasants from September through March. Or perhaps try our Honor System Training Program from August 1st through September 30th and train your own dog with our Quail, Chukar, Pigeons, Pheasants or Mallards, with a choice of five different training fields.
Our game farm sells Black Gold Dog Food and is also a dealer for Tri-tronics dog training collars. Call for info!

Honor System Training Program
Open To The Public
Wolf River Game Farms training program is a unique resource our reliable and trustworthy customers allow us to offer. From August 1st through September 30th , holding pens are maintained in our south field with Bobwhite Quail, Chukar Partridge, Pigeons, Pheasants and Mallards stocked as available. No reservations are taken and a one bird minimum per 30 minutes is required.
Individuals help themselves to birds and pay only for each bird removed from the pens. You are allowed to shoot our birds all year. Training takes place in up to five different locations as marked by signs in those areas.
This allows multiple trainers to work simultaneously. Ponds are located near all areas to help during warm weather. We also offer electronic release traps for rent while using our facilities along with various training aids. Strays are FREE of charge. When finished with the training session, go to the clubhouse and complete an envelope with the information requested, place the payment in the envelope, seal and insert into the drop box. Tags are available in the clubhouse for each harvested Quail, Pheasant or Mallard. They are delicious!

Hunt Packages
We offer three options: a card system, a half-day hunt or a quick two-hour hunt. Birds can be added at the per bird prices to any package except the scratch hunting package.
CARD SYSTEM
Full Season - late September through March 31st
- Card packages purchased for the season must be used during that time; any remaining birds will be forfeited.
- The minuimum release is two Pheasants or four Chukars or five Quail per half-day for weekday use.
- WEEKENDS and HOLIDAYS require a minimum release of five Pheasants or ten Chukars of fifteen Quail for half-day.
- Guests are free with a limit of four guns per field.
- Cards must be paid in full before the season with 50% due at the time of the order or pay in full by June 15th to receive the early bird discount.
HALF-DAY PACKAGE
- Consists of a flat fee for a group with up to four guns and your choice of birds (five Pheasants or nine Chukars or fifteen Quail).
- Extra birds are available at the per bird prices.
TWO-DAY PACKAGE
- Hunt with a choice of two Pheasants or three Chukar Partridges or five Bobwhite Quail for a flat fee.
- Stray birds are extra.
GUIDE DOGS
Pointing or flushing dogs with handlers are available by appointment for any size hunt. Tipping is encouraged.
OTHER PACKAGES
Sportsmans Package or a Scratch Hunting Package.

We are open seven days a week including holidays with the exception of the first seven days of gun deer season.
European Shoots
European shoots are a great group activity for 10 to 20 people where everyone enjoys superb pass shooting on your choice of Pheasant, Chukar Partridge, Bobwhite Quail and clay pigeons.

Directions
Located just 35 miles from Green Bay or Appleton, Wolf river Game Farm consists of over 450 acres where hunting areas are spread out eliminating interference from other groups.
FROM GREEN BAY (30 MILES): Take 29 W to 156 (left turn off of 29) go to hwy 47 turn right go ¼ mile turn left on hwy 156 go 7 miles farm is on your right.
FROM APPLETON (35 MILES): Take 47 north to Black Creek continue north on 47 another 11 miles (approx) turn left on hwy 156 go 7 miles farm is on your right.
FROM WAUSAU: Take 29 East to Shawano take exit for Hwy 47 / 55 & K. At the end of the ramp turn right going South on K for approx. 10 miles to stop sign. Go straight at stop sign for ¼ mile turn left on 156 farm is first place on left.
Special attention is given to a variety of cover to maintain ideal conditions for year-round activities and still hold those late season birds.
Selections of corn/sorghum and sunflowers are planted to enhance natural areas of marsh grasses, brushy thickets and cattails, with ponds to cool the dogs in the warm weather.
